2025 Santa Claus Parade Volunteers

We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support the Town of Parry Sound's Annual Santa Claus Parade! Your help is crucial to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable event for everyone involved. Here's what volunteers can expect:

Key Responsibilities:

• Road Closures: Assist in closing designated side roads to ensure the safety of parade participants and spectators.
• Event Fencing: Place event fencing onto the streets prior to the parade and remove it once the parade passes your location.

Volunteer Expectations:

• Orientation: Attend a brief meeting prior to the parade day to familiarize yourself with roles and expectations.
• Assignment: Volunteers will be assigned a side road location for the parade. 
• Timing: Arrive by 4:30PM at the assigned location and remain onsite until the Santa Float passes by.
• Task: Move event fencing into the side road at the start of the parade, and remove from the side road after the Santa Float has passed your location.
